Kerala is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India that offers remarkable lifelong experiences. This Kerala Tree house 6 nights and 7 days itinerary, will offer you an amazing tree house stay experience in Munnar, an overnight houseboat cruise from Alleppey, and sightseeing of the state’s main attractions. In this itinerary you will be going to visit some of the main cities of Kerala like Kochi, Munnar, Alleppey, Kovalam, and Trivandrum (capital city).
Itinerary - 06 Nights / 07 Days
Upon arrival at Cochin Airport/ Railway Station, meet our company who will take you to the hotel and assist in check-in process. Complete your check-in formalities and take some rest. Post lunch, travel across the Cochin Harbor and arrive at Fort Kochi to enjoy sightseeing. The famous attractions which you will visit include St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace and Jewish Synagogue. In the evening, enjoy the special Kathakali dance performance by trained local dancers. This is followed by an overnight stay at Cochin.
After having breakfast, drive towards Munnar, the beautiful hill town in Kerala. Upon arrival, check-in at a tree house resort. The tree house is equipped with all the modern amenities. Explore the ambience and enjoy your stay here. Spend rest of the day at leisure. You can also plan to explore the nearby surroundings. This will be followed by an overnight stay at Munnar.
Enjoy sightseeing in Munnar. We will first visit the Mattupetty Dam, Town Market, Eravikulam National Park and then discover Old Munnar Town. All these places have much to explore and each of these places will offers you a unique side of Munnar. This is followed by an overnight stay in a tree house.
Post-breakfast, we will start our journey to Alleppey, also known as Alappuzha, famously known as the backwater hub of Kerala. Upon arrival, check-into a Kettuvallam, a traditional houseboat fortified with all the modern amenities. You will be having overnight journey on backwater cruise with lot of sightseeing. Overnight stay on-board the houseboat.
After breakfast, land from the houseboat and start a drive to Kovalam. After arriving, check-in to a beach resort. Kovalam, a beautiful beach town near Thiruvananthapuram, is well-known for its crescent-shaped beach which comprises of three beaches – Hawa, Lighthouse and Samudra Beach. This is followed by an overnight stay at Kovalam.
On this day, opt for sightseeing in and around Kovalam including attractions like Padmanabhaswamy Temple, the Museum Complex, Science & Technology Museum, Veli Tourist Village and Shankumugham Beach. Return back to Kovalam. This is followed by an overnight stay at Kovalam.
Get transferred on time to the Trivandrum airport/railway station to continue with your onward journey.
