Itinerary - 04 Nights / 05 Days
Upon arrival at Imphal airport, meet our tour representative who will take you to your pre-booked hotel. Enjoy the hospitality and take rest for a while. In the afternoon, visit the Kangla Fort, a magnificient architecture which will please your eyes. Later, check out the colorful Inna Market. Stay at the hotel overnight.
Start your day with a gorgeous view of Govindajee Temple, and then move towards the Loktak lake (which is the largest freshwater lake in the northeast). Later, visit the INA Memorial popular for being a memorial and iconic place as the Indian tricolor flag was first hoisted here by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army). In the evening, visit the Japanese War Memorial, War Cemetery. Overnight stay at the Imphal hotel.
We start this day a little early so that we can explore more and more places. We will visit Indo-Myanmar Border Town of Moreh. On our way, we cross over to the Myanmar side to see altogether a different culture and lifestyle in their nearest town of Tamu. There we will make a quick visit to the Buddhist Pagoda and the Local Market, then spend some time in the Namphalong market. Return back to Imphal and overnight stay at the hotel.
In the morning, get ready for a day trip to Andro Cultural Village. Visit the Cultural Heritage Complex. You will see that there are some very ancient practices of fire worshipping in the temple of Panam Ningthou. The community of Andro has occupied a major portion in the map of traditional pot making culture. They still preserve the traditional rituals and norms relating to the process of pot making. Moreover, the villagers are nature-loving people and always maintain a good relationship with nature to keep a pollution-free ecosystem. In brief, we can call the village as the living heritage village. Interact with the villagers and see pottery making. Later proceed to Kakching Garden before returning back to Imphal, Overnight stay at the Imphal hotel.
